Stubled across this post as I tried to see if hoarding was a real kitten/cat phenom (my kitten is showing decidedly hoardish tendencies!). I literally laughed til I cried reading this. I have this aunt, your cat could have been mine and I haev been woken with soggy offerings as well. My cat once gorged on the family-size pack of Nutterbutters. Gotta love 'em.
